The Orgasms.xxx people were a bit too quick on the trigger with their site launch in early August, and they had to shut down for very extended maintenance and web redesign – although of course with the promise of, once they were back up again, adding the lost time to the member accounts of those people who had joined the site early, which included yours truly.
Well, Orgasms.xxx has been back up again for about a week now – with a new site design and a couple of new content updates – so let’s put that little launch “glitch” behind us and take a look at what Orgasms.xxx has to offer at the time of writing.
This is going to be a pretty lengthy post, and can pretty much be considered a site review.
So far I’ve watched 15 of the current 23 lesbian videos on the brand new site Orgasms.xxx – and taken a sneak peek at the rest – and I’ve mostly been very pleased with what I’ve seen, even exceptionally pleased in several cases as Orgasms.xxx delivers the best lesbian scenes I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching with two of my favourite models (though sadly not together, but perhaps we might get lucky and see that happen later).
I do bemoan the fact that it’s not exclusively a lesbian site as I would have wished for though, but unfortunately has nearly half the content made up of boy/girl scenes, plus a couple of solo scenes. Content updates are also slow with just one new video and photoset per week, so it will be some time before this site is a force to be reckoned with in terms of volume.
Fortunately though, quality over quantity certainly proves an extremely compelling reason to consider joining Orgasms.xxx already in these early days.
Before I go ahead and give some scores and brief comments on some of those scenes, I can mention a few other things about the new site that I left out in my post last month.
One is the option for 1080p and 720p HD downloads, as well as two options for portable devices (I’m not particularly thrilled about their choice of the QuickTime MOV format for the 1080p files though, I wish they had gone with MP4 as most sites do for 1080p videos, but at least they play fine being streamed from PC to Playstation 3 – connected to my HDTV – and two of the four media players I tried on my PC. Windows Media format, WMV, is used as an alternative for the 720p and 960×540 download options, and MP4/FLV for the portable formats).
You also get several choices for photosets in zip files on Orgasms.xxx. The largest is a pretty huge 4000×2667 pixels.
One technical aspect – aside from the QuickTime choice – that I haven’t been impressed with is download speeds. I only get 300-500 kB/s per running download. While it’s not exactly a major incovenience to have to wait around 20-40 minutes for a HD download to complete – and on my connection I can run several of those simultaneously at the same speed – it is much slower than what I’ve gotten used to from some of the other sites I frequent recently. From the Viv Thomas sites for instance (including I Dream of Jo) I usually get 2-5+ MB/s (my 50 Mbit connection tops out at 6 MB/s), typically around the same from 21Sextury, and 1-2+ MB/s from Sapphic Erotica.
I hope this is an area they will improve upon on Orgasms.xxx.
But enough with the technical details, let’s move on to those lesbian videos.
Brace yourself for the first three – the stunning Ariel has been modeling for six or seven years (returning to “hardcore” girl/girl fairly recently after a couple of years of softcore nude modeling only) and in all that time she has in my opinion only done a single great lesbian scene amongst a sea of medicore ones. Well, the lady has apparently picked up a few tricks recently, because out of her three scenes on Orgasms.xxx, two of them are a fair bit better than that one great scene with Nella from 2007, and the third isn’t too far behind.
She’s still best on the receiving end, but her game has has certainly improved overall.
Also a few general notes that apply in large measure to all these scenes. I rarely pay attention to camera work, but there have been several times in most of these scenes where I’ve been actively impressed, particularly with the attention to faces (I have however never been much of a fan of extended genital close-ups, which also tend to happen a couple of times during a scene). Locations have been well lit and inviting, even if “bedroom” appears to be the potentially slightly bland setting of choice.
No overdone glamour makeup – the girls all look just the right amount of styled.
Dialogue and/or minor “story” setups are used a little in quite a few scenes, including three of the Eufrat videos below.
But about those scenes…
Ariel and Zuzana Z – 9/10 (really great scene that I’ve already watched a handful of times. Zuzana has always been a really strong girl/girl performer, and she has excellent chemistry with Ariel, which is no doubt vital to making this scene as impressive as it is)
Ariel and Blue Angel – 9/10 (originally I actually liked this one ever so slightly better than the one above with Zuzana, but the second time through I had to admit that Ariel had better chemistry with Zuzana than with Blue. So let’s say this one is around an 8.8, and then round it up)
Ariel and Bridget – 8/10 (Ariel clearly does best with a strong and experienced partner and Bridget comes off looking like a rank amateur next to Blue and Zuzana. However I still think this scene turned out quite well. Or maybe I’m just overly enthusiastic because good lesbian scenes from Ariel are so exceedingly rare)
Eufrat and Blue Angel – 6.5/10 (I’ll start of the Eufrat batch with the disappointing scene. The girls are gorgeous, on their own and together, and there are countless stunning shots throughout the scene, and in the accompanying photoset, but unfortunately the video suffers from obvious overacting, particularly from Eufrat but Blue is not quite her usual impeccable self here either. There’s also silliness like a simultaneous “orgasm” during a 69, mere minutes after both girls had already, presumably, had their first. This feels a bit like bad direction leading to bad performances)
And to save myself some time, and keep this blog post from becoming more bloated than it already is, I’ll lump the other four Eufrat scenes together.
Eufrat and Samantha/Veronika/Adrianna/Jessica – 9/10 for the Eufrat and Samantha scene, probably somewhere between an 8.5 and a small 9 for the rest. The girls really get a chance to shine here, and Eufrat is even more sexy and attractive than usual because of the generous amounts of dialogue in several of the scenes (plus her frequent flashings of that polar cap melting smile). And it certainly helps that she’s allowed to speak in her native Czech here, as her English isn’t as strong as from some of the Eastern European models, so she always sounds a bit uncomfortable and awkward when she’s had to speak that working for some other studios.
Lola and Nicky – 7.5/10 (the extremely beautiful and impossibly adorable Lola is the latest addition to my relatively short list of favourite girl/girl models. That “promotion” was mainly based on her work with very experienced first rate models like Eve Angel, Jo, Lisa and Sandra Shine, and not surprisingly Lola is not capable of delivering quite the same impressive performance when she’s paired up with what appears to be an equally relatively inexperienced model here in this Orgasms.xxx scene. That also applies, perhaps even more so, to her second scene for the new site, listed a little further down. But it is kind of fun to watch cute little Lola almost try to take charge several times here, instead of being the usual plaything for the older girl/girl superstars)
I’ll stick to just handing out scores for the remaining scenes I’ve watched in full. That doesn’t mean they aren’t worthy of comments, merely that this blog post is already getting pretty long winded, and that I’m running out of time for tonight and the next few days.

Zuzana Z and Sabina – 8.5/10
Blue Angel and Bridget – 8/10
Sylvia Delux and Tereza – 8/10
Caprice and Victoria – 8/10
Yes, I didn’t hand out the generous helping of 9s and 10s I’ve done to scenes featuring girls like Jo, Sandra Shine, Vera, Nella and other truly exceptional and very experienced models, but that doesn’t mean that all those 8/10 or even the couple of 7ish/10 scenes from Orgasms.xxx weren’t great in their own right, even if they technically only qualify for a “good” or “decent” on my scale.
That’s a scale heavily colored by my increasingly picky taste in girl/girl porn, and a 7/10 here is still a hell of a lot better than the very vast majority of the crap that passes for lesbian porn from most studios (I even suspect that a hazy memory colored by “rose tinted glasses” tends to make me value some or many of my favourite lesbian scenes from a studio like 21Sextury, a bit higher than I would feel they were worth if I watched them for the first time here in 2011).
Overall, while content volume is an issue at this point, I still highly recommend Orgasms.xxx for fans of high quality lesbian erotica with a strong focus on sensuality and intimacy. And it’s an absolute must for fans of Ariel and Eufrat.

So far I’ve found quite a lot of scenes I really love from one studio in particular, and been quite impressed by a number of American models in their movies.
